INTO THE WILD.

“The heartbeat of eternity can be heard in the vast stillness of the wilderness.” – Robbie George

The wilderness provides true solace for the soul. Getting outdoors and walking under a treetop canopy, or strolling down a beautiful, winding trail littered with wildflowers in every direction, touches a part of the heart that modern day meanderings can’t compete with. There is something truly sublime and ethereal about a forest submersion, and spending time with birdsong, a babbling brook, and a light breeze can work as the ultimate reset to any stress you may be facing. When I need personal recalibration, I head outdoors. It is a surefire remedy for what ails the human condition.

Think of spending time in the wild as a re-connection to your true essence. The stillness and peace that befalls the forest is like a beautiful medicine that can allow one to get quiet, think deeply, reflect on life, and find healing and happiness. Going into the wild is a beautiful salve for the soul and something that should be tended to as often as possible. Make time to connect with the wild. Submerge in stillness. Revel in the marvels of the natural world, and give thanks.
