CULTIVATE HAPPINESS.

“Happiness cannont be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude.” -Denis Waitley

Happiness is a practice. This feeling and state of being takes work and thoughtful intention. It is easy to bounce from one emotion to the next throughout the day depending on how your day may be going but how do you invite more happiness and contentment into your daily life and keep things moving in a more fluid and peaceful manner? It requires work and practice. We all have differing ideas of what happiness is and what it looks like, so honor exactly where you’re at and how it feels to you. Then hone in on how to bring yourself where you want to be with finding that ultimate state of happiness.

Happiness radiates from the inside out. When we work on cultivating happiness within, this will inevitably transfer to the outer world. The more you practice happiness, the easier it will become to find this natural state of being. Let go of negativity and outside influences that may bring you down. Surround yourself with goodness and light.

Also recognize that it is not reasonable to always be in a state of happiness. As human beings our emotional states ebb and flow (this is true for everybody), so practice meeting yourself exactly where you are and be with those emotions. If things feel tough sit with those emotions so you can move through them instead of avoiding or suppressing them and then come out on the other side feeling good in your own skin. Be ok with who you are, exactly as you are. Love your life. Practice gratitude. Seek happiness. Spread happiness.
