GENEROSITY.

“When will our consciences grow so tender that we will act to prevent human misery rather than avenge it?”― Eleanor Roosevelt

Generosity is a virtue and a mind set. With much heaviness going on in the world in which we live, it is helpful to remember you have the power to shift your own perspective and step into your own heart center at any time to help soften your own consciousness in places you’ve built up walls.

Is a shift in consciousness needed to help re-wire how we perceive what is right and what is wrong? Perhaps. I appreciate the word tender here and feel it to be the strength we need collectively to move forward in a way that will start to shift us out of chaos, violence, and division. At some point someone has to say enough is enough, and stop. It is the act of stopping and finding tenderness, internally and externally, that will allow for true healing to start taking root.

In this month of Thanksgiving, take a moment to touch base with what generosity means to you. What does generosity feel like in your body? How do you express generosity in the world, and how can we allow our consciences to grow more tender and allow for more forgiveness and love for one another? Take a moment to ponder this and make contact with your generous nature. Soften more. Trust. Know that you have the power to make a difference.
