Holding space is an incredible gift you can give to yourself and others that is so energetically potent and grounding. The simple act of being present and available to others in a way that is not busy, emotionally draining, or overly involved is a lovely way to hold space for others. The act of just being there is sometimes all that is required. Try holding space for someone without the need to do or be something other than exactly what you are at your core. Perhaps grab someone’s hand or simply sit near them without words and feel the energetic exchange taking place. Often times it is in the still spaces that allow for the most healing to occur.
If you let your heart center to open and share that love with those around you or even at a distance, it will be felt. Let go of judgment or the way you think things should be and just allow life to be exactly as it is and allow those around you to experience the same. Try holding space and see what happens; don’t be surprised if it is a totally awesome experience! The next time someone in your life is having a tough day or an especially joyful day, see if you can tap into their realm and be there to hold them energetically. Hold space. Let go of the need to do. Go deeper.
