SEASONAL GROUNDING.

“In the vessel of your body, you yourself are the world tree, deep roots in the Earth and a crown of stars. Your essence bridges dimensions.”- Elizabeth Eiler

As seasons change so too do our minds and bodies. We are from the Earth and are therefore bound to feel its sometimes subtle, sometimes sudden shifts. This connection we feel is powerful, beautiful and a visceral one. As summer turns to fall, embrace the change. This is a time where deep grounding can be beneficial. Emotions tend to be heightened during the transition into fall, energy levels can perhaps feel more sluggish and heavy, so tread lightly and breathe deeply. Practice excellent self care and make time for daily grounding and self nourishment.

As the plants and trees begin to send their vitality and strength down to their roots in preparation for winter, take note, and try to do the same in your own physical body. Perhaps make your transitions slow down, get extra sleep, eat beautiful seasonal foods that support your immune system, and make time for inward reflection on the seasonal shift you are undergoing. Embrace change. Find your roots. Flow into fall.
