“The goal of life is to make your heartbeat match the beat of the universe, to match your nature with Nature.” – Joseph Campbell
Spring is here and as we shift into a new season, reflect on where you’ve been this winter and where you want to go as we welcome spring. Make time to connect with the outdoors. Take a walk in nature, go hiking or running, sit under a beautiful tree and breathe in the majesty, take paints with you and go out and paint wildflowers, or lay out on a warm evening and stargaze. Find the rhythm of nature and try to mirror that. Finding stillness and solitude in nature can have such powerful and calming effects. Nature is also a well-spring of inspiration. Draw on the natural world to lift you up and help you on your journey.
As the weather begins to warm, flowers begin to bloom, days grow longer and vital energy returns. Use this as a metaphor for your own life. See how you too can blossom in new areas and expand your heart in new and brilliant ways. Make time for the outdoors and connect your heartbeat to that of nature. Nature has much to teach us all.
Work on living your best life and creating your best you. I encourage you to make lists, set goals, and envision what you are currently loving about your life and what you might like to see manifest in this seasonal shift. Writing down goals or journaling about life can make things happen. It also can be a great release and a helpful tool for reflection in the future. Spring is an ideal time to take stock of your life and really gaze inward on where you are heading and where you are in the now. Work towards more connection with the natural world. Do some self-study. Welcome Spring!
