PRACTICE INTENTIONAL LIVING.

“Your intentions are your non-physical causes that set energy into motion. They create a multitude of effects and, therefore, determine the experiences of your life. This is one of the most important things you can know. It is also something you can see for yourself is true.” – Gary Zukav

Being intentional in life can have huge impacts on shaping your reality. When we make choices, communicate, use touch, or connect with others it is important that we do so with intention. To have a ‘why’ for what we are doing in the world really is something worth reflecting on. It is easy to get swept up in the doings of life and forget to pause and think about how our actions and thoughts may impact another. Perhaps you have created patterns with those closest to you and so you revert to these patterns, whether they are healthy or not and forget to speak or act with pure intention. I challenge you to think about how your daily interactions or thought patterns may be helping or hindering your life.

When was the last time you set intentions for the day? Perhaps this is in your daily practice of life, but if it is not maybe try setting your intentions for the day first thing in the morning. For example, pick 3 things you wish for your day. They truly can be anything you want to see manifest in your life. Write them down or go over them in your mind. Root your intentions in loving kindness and have them align with your core values. Practice this act of being intentional for a week (or longer) and see if it has a positive impact on your life. The more you practice intentional living the easier it becomes to incorporate this way of living into day-to-day life. It becomes more of a second nature. Intention can really help foster self-growth and allow for a deeper understanding of who you are at your center. Be intentional. Shape your reality. Inspire yourself & others.
