So many things in our lives pull us away from our natural state of just being, rather we are inundated with a million to-do’s and forget how to just be. In allowing stillness into your life you create a space to really get to know you. You might be thinking, “Well that sounds nice but I don’t have time to find serenity in my day.” I would offer that it truly can take 2 minutes of focused attention and quiet to start tapping into that place inside. Perhaps you can find this time before the hustle and bustle starts in the morning, when you are driving in the car and you focus on your breathing, or at night before you settle in. Wherever you can carve some time out in your day for you, your mind & body will thank you.
