BE HUMBLE.

“Humility is the essence of love and intelligence; it is not an achievement.”- Jiddu Krishnamurti

Sharing knowledge with others can be a priceless gift you give or receive.

Expand your own self awareness, recognize when it’s best to speak and when it’s best to listen. Sometimes one can learn far more when they stop speaking and start listening. Have you ever been in a hurry or found yourself speaking quickly or forcing a situation and then walked away and had a moment to breathe and thought, “huh?… I could have handled that differently.” In those moments of forced speech or forced action/ non-action look for ways to pause, breathe and be thoughtful with your words. Or perhaps let it go if it is something that doesn’t need to be said or done. Humble yourself. Make your life transitions smoother, not everything has to happen at the exact moment you’d like it to. Let go and flow.

Do not confuse being proud of accomplishments and talents with being passive/ non-engagement, these are not one in the same. It is wonderful to share your gifts and interests with others in a way that is authentic and kind. Be genuine and cultivate genuine relationships with others. Try putting your ego on the back burner for awhile and see how this changes your perception of things around you.

Say “thank you.” I am a big believer that these two simple words can move mountains. Give thanks always and be generous with who you thank. Today put the needs of others before your own and see how it feels. Hold the door open for someone behind you. Spread loving-kindness. Be a humble warrior.
