“To the ego mind, surrender means giving up. To the spiritual mind, surrender means giving in and receiving.”- Marrianne Williamson
How can we invite surrender into our daily lives? Often times surrendering is seen as weakness, when in fact it is one of the most empowering, uplifting and grounding experiences we can have as human beings. When we surrender our hearts, our minds, our spirit to what is, exactly as it is, without exception or wanting more or less, we can find peace. This creates room for breath, for inner movement and inner harmony and opens the door to living an authentic and peaceful life. Surrender puts you in a state of meeting yourself exactly where you are. This is a beautiful place to be and allows for life to ebb and flow in a way that is more organic and natural. I invite you to explore what surrender means in your life and how it might feel to let life happen around you for a day or afternoon without judgment or without being stuck in your mind. Surrender and carve out a space that is filled with intention and acceptance of life exactly as it is.
